In the 1986 movie Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home, Scotty attempts to use a computer by saying, "Hello, computer". On Wednesday, Google added speech input via HTML, and taking Scotty's command to the Web.The first utilization of this will be the ability to speak words to Google Translate, which will then translate them on the screen and then play them back, if you choose.
