Archos Unveils the GamePad, a 7-Inch Gaming Tablet

Today Archos unveiled its first gaming tablet, a 7" tablet that packs a capacitive screen as well as physical buttons and dual analog sticks.

IGN - Full specs haven't been released, but what we do know is the Archos GamePad packs a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, and comes with a Mali 400mp quad-core GPU.

A wide variety of games will likely be supported, as Henri Crohas, Archos CEO puts it, “When Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, was first released they included game controller support within the framework and that is when we decided to build the GamePad."
