E3 2014: Every Video Game Release Date Announcement

Here's a full list of every release date announced so far at this year's E3 for Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and 3DS.

E3 is a popular place to announce new games, but it's perhaps an even more popular venue for announcing release dates. And in that regard this year's show has not disappointed so far--whether it's the beta for Destiny or PlayStation Now, The Last of Us Remastered, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, or any number of other games, there's a good chance that, if it's a game coming out this year, we now know its release date.

What follows below is a complete look at the release dates (and frustratingly vague release windows) announced at E3 so far. We'll be updating this list throughout the week, so even if you don't see what you're looking for, check back and you may just find what you're looking for.

New 3D Mario announced for Wii U

Gamespot - The latest 3D Mario game will be playable at E3 2013, with new Mario Kart and Yoshi games also announced by Nintendo. 

Nintendo will unveil its successor to Super Mario Galaxy 2 at this year's E3.

Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata announced the Wii U game's existence today as part of Nintendo Direct, but did not go into any more specifics other than to say it would be playable at E3 2013, which will be held this year June 11-13.

Iwata did mention that it would be Nintendo EAD Tokyo--the team who made Mario Galaxy, Mario Galaxy 2 and Super Mario 3D Land--handling development of the new 3D Mario.

During the Nintendo Direct presentation Iwata confirmed that Nintendo would also be showing new Mario Kart and Smash Bros. titles at E3 2013, and that Nintendo was already hard at work on a new Wii U Zelda.

E3: Nintendo gets social and connected with Wii U

CNET - At their E3 presser, Nintendo chose to focus on the Wii U and its games and services, but not so much on specific launch windows or on the next generation of 3DS games.

LOS ANGELES--Nintendo had already unveiled the Wii U well before E3 started, but there were a lot of things going into this show that we didn't know. Nintendo's keynote spent a great deal of time detailing what the Wii U can do, what its online and app services are, and what games we can expect to see. A small amount of time was also spent on the Nintendo 3DS, but today's event was clearly dedicated to the Wii U.

What we didn't get, however, was a date and price. Not surprising, but anticlimactic all the same.

Wii U gets social and connected
 
The Wii U will have Amazon Instant Video, Netflix, Hulu Plus and YouTube support, covering most of the bases for what many home consumers would think of as a set-top streaming video box.
