ComingSoon.Net - DreamWorks Studios has released the new poster for director Steven Spielberg's Lincoln, starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, David Strathairn, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, James Spader, Hal Holbrook and Tommy Lee Jones. The film opens in limited theaters on November 9 before expanding on November 16.

Lincoln is a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President's tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come.

The film is based in part on the book "Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln" by Doris Kearns Goodwin.

Google Glasses First Look: Would You Wear These Augmented Reality Specs?

Gizmodo - We first heard rumors about Google’s augmented reality glasses a few months ago, and now in a post on Google Plus, the company revealed “Project Glass”along with some early concepts and prototype designs. These specs look like the freaky science fiction concept they are. Would you wear them, though?

Watch this video of what the world would look like from behind these glasses. It’s like Iron Man except instead of important world-saving information you’re answering your friend’s text messages and learning about delays on the subway. The Google[x] team that’s working on the project says they’ve opened it up to the public to solicit ideas about what people actually want from a set of augmented reality specs.          More
