Comic-Con: The Hobbit Brings Middle-earth to Hall H
IGN - Warner Bros. and director Peter Jackson came to San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday to give fans an exclusive look at The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, part one of the director's two-part adaptation of the J.R.R. Tolkien fantasy classic. Joining Jackson in Hall H for the presentation were co-producer and co-screenwriter Phillippa Boyens and cast members Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf), Martin Freeman (Bilbo Baggins), Andy Serkis (Gollum), Richard Armitage (Thorin Oakenshield), and surprise guest Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins). Comic-Con: Full 3-Minute Trailer for Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn
ComingSoon.Net...at San Diego Comic-Con International, 343 Industries and Microsoft unveiled the official trailer for Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, the live-action digital series based on the best-selling Xbox franchise. The series will be initially distributed worldwide by Machinima, debuting on its new channel, Machinima Prime, as well as on Halo Waypoint, on Oct. 5, 2012. Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn will unfold through a series of five episodes, setting the stage for the worldwide launch of Halo 4 on Nov. 6. You can watch the trailer below!

San Diego Comic-Con 2012: A User’s Guide
San Diego Comic-Con is a fun destination for fanboys and fangirls, but it is also big business for Hollywood. Studios now use Comic-Con to unveil and promote the latest tentpole blockbusters, whether the films are based on comic books or not. Filmmakers at the event will be fighting to build buzz for their projects with trailers, trailers for trailers, early footage and panel discussions.
